[AtlSMPTE] August Section Meeting

SMPTE Section Members and Friends-
Vacations and logistics have conspired to delay the finalization of our
August meeting plans.  We have overcome these obstacles are pleased to
annouice that the August meeting will be held on Monday, August 11th in
the Multi-Purpose Room at Turner.  Spiced Right will be served at 6:30
and the program will begin at 7:30.
The program will be provided by Leitch.  Mike Pecoraro, Applications
Engineering Manager, will discuss the issues and options facing today's
engineers in the implementation of a facility-wide alarm, monitoring and
control system using TCP/IP and SNMP.
Please use the main entrance to Turner, which is off of Techwood Drive
between 10th and 14th St.  To help facilitate the security process,
please send an e-mail to David.Siegler at turner.com by noon on Monday  if
you are planning to attend.  This will expedite your process through
security.
We are looking forward to seeing you on Monday
