In this presentation Mitch Hayden, former product manager for routing and current product manager for master control products for Thomson Multimedia will discuss the reliability attributes required for these newer, very dense and linearly expandable routers.

November Meeting
The November section meeting was held at the Sony facility in Norcross. The program focused on the applications and workflow benefits of the new e-VTR product line. By leveraging the developing MXF format for file exchange, as well as allowing the use of traditional video tape storage and archiving methodologies, great flexibility and efficiency can be realized from a single recording, storage and archive device. Following the presentation, there were tours of the Sony service facility.
