Call for Papers
for
The 2003 Fall Convention and Meeting
Getting Past Getting On The Air
Convention Dates: Friday, October 10th, and Saturday, October 11th
Admission: Free. Williamsburg Ramada Inn
WEBE and SMPTE are looking for presenters for their fall convention and
meeting, whose proposed theme is "Getting Past Getting On The Air" If you
are involved with a new technology or product that you would like to
promote at this convention, please consider making a presentation. The
presentations should preferably be "White Paper" style, rather than
specific product descriptions. We are also pleased to announce that, once
again, we will be offering a Saturday morning session.
We invite all manufacturers and vendors to help support our convention,
which is presented at no cost to the attendees, by sponsoring a part of
the convention. Whether it's a short coffee break, a hospitality suite, or
a full lunch for the attendees, your support will be greatly appreciated
and acknowledged by our attendees.
Last year we had 76 persons representing industry leaders, engineering
managers, and senior technical broadcast employees of the
Baltimore/Washington region in attendance. We hope you'll join us in
making this year's convention an important forum for the presentation and
discussion of the issues and technologies that affect our industry today
and tomorrow.

about making a presentation, or to sponsor part of the convention, please
