Digital Audio in Today’s Broadcast and Production Environment
In the digital broadcast era, audio is no longer seen as the poor
step-sister to the video content of the materials we produce.  With
multi-channel audio, a variety of broadcast standards and a large number
of distribution channels, dealing with digital audio has become more
problematic.
George Wicker and Joe Wellman of Sigma Electronics will present an
outline of the different acceptable and proposed standards for AES/EBU
and will discuss the benefits and problems associated with each.
