AES, SMPTE and SBE
For all AES, SMPTE and SBE  members.  Each member may bring a guest.

The 2004 Holiday Party was the place to see and be seen and the 2005 event
is shaping up to be even bigger and better!  Come join the Atlanta Area
chapters of the AES, SBE and SMPTE at Einstein's for dinner, dessert and
lots of great door prizes provided by many of your favorite vendors
including: Avid, AZCAR, Canon, Comprehensive Technical Group, Fujinon,
Joseph Electronics, Leitch, Sony, Tandberg Television, Technical Innovation,
Thomson/Grass Valley and Wegener.

Turner Studios Engineering has an opening for a production engineer to
support workstation-based platforms.  Responsibilities include the
implementation, maintenance and administration of Windows, Mac and Linux
workstations used in the production of standard definition and high
definition video content.
The preferred candidate would have experience supporting the following
applications and Systems: Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Adobe
Premiere, Maya, Shake, BlackMagic Decklink, AJA Kona, High performance SCSI
and Fiber Channel RAIDs.  In addition, the candidate should be familiar with
SDI video, AES audio and other systems used in the operation of a video
production facility.
The individual should be able to work well in a group environment and
deliver excellent customer service.  The individual should be able to manage
multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.  This position is in
a 24x7 production facility and some schedule flexibility is required
