Turner Entertainment Networks & ADC/NVision present:

The Nuts and Bolts of 1.5 Gigabits Television

ADC/NVision will cover the knowledge and insights gained during the implementation of 1.5 Gigabit systems over the past 2 years. The technical issues associated with plant design will be discussed and key performance criteria for equipment identified. The SMPTE 292 standard will be analyzed with respect to equipment specifications and design tradeoffs.

Speaker: Chuck Meyer, Director of Engineering, heads the NVISION design team that has developed the most innovative line of digital audio, video, and HDTV routing products on the market today, including the ENVOY Super Wide Band Video and TDM Audio Routers. Prior to Joining NVISION in 1990, Mr. Meyer Co-founded Applied Design Laboratories where he successfully developed and licensed consumer electronic products to Tyco, Hasbro, Nike, and Nolan Bushnell's AXLON Toys. Mr. Meyer earned his BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering at the University of California at Berkley, where he was a Tektronix Foundation Fellow, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Tau Beta Pi, and Eta Kappa Nu honor societies.

Dave Siegler, Turner Entertainment Networks, has scheduled a tour of the new Turner Studio Building following the ADC/NVision presentation.

Take Exit 250 "Tenth St/Fourteenth St/Georgia Tech."
Turn left at top of ramp, heading West on 10th.
Drive over the Interstate, then turn right into visitor entrance at
intersection of 10th St. and Fowler St.
Security Check-In will be up the drive.
