Streaming video, the delivery of highly compressed video and audio information over non- deterministic data networks like TCP/IP, has been evolving at an incredible pace and is likely to play a very key role in the future of media and television. Mr. Michel Gouin, Director of Product Management for Miranda Technologies will discuss the potential roles that streaming video can play in a TV facility. These are applications that go beyond the obvious streaming of video content onto the web but are used as productivity and monitoring tools within a traditional broadcast facility..
