Monitoring MPEG-2 Transport Streams: Making Sense Of All Those
Bits
As the use of MPEG-2 transport has increased, the need for monitoring and signal measurement have changed dramatically. MPEG-2 streams by their very nature provide more capability than analog or uncompressed digital transport and this additional capability translates into a great deal of complexity and the need for new monitoring and measurement tools. Michel Grouin, Product Manager, Miranda, will present issues pertaining to the monitoring of MPEG-2 transport streams and will examine the standards and practices that are evolving for this important new function.
After the presentation, WGCL and DST of Atlanta, would like to invite you to a tour of the new WGCL facility, and see the "work in progress".
