iStudio Monitoring and DTV
Transmission
Digital TV has expanded the offerings of many program providers. With
the increased number of programs comes the need for new monitoring
strategies in the master control environment. There is a need for
simultaneous viewing of a array of programs that vary in content and
significance over time. The iStudio provides a method for flexible
monitoring arrangements using high quality large screen displays. These
displays may be easily rearranged to meet changing requirements. Jim
Durant, Regional Sales Manager for Barco Communication Systems will
demonstrate the iStudio and discuss its application in broadcast and
distribution environments. Jim will also discuss current applications in
transmission and transport of digital video signals.
